It's Halloween week, and Kelly Clarkson is getting in the spirit with a spooky costume. The singer/talk show host dressed as a vampire for the Halloween edition of The Kelly Clarkson Show. Her costume is equally scary as it is chic, as she wears a black, gothic-style gown, along with wavy hair and dark eye makeup. She also appears to make herself more pale to look more like a vampire. To top off the Halloween look, she adds red teardrops falling from her eyes.
Fittingly, she performed Olivia Rodrigo's hit "Vampire."
The Halloween edition of The Kelly Clarkson show also featured interviews with The Real Housewives' Kyle Richards, NBC correspondent Keith Morrison and comedian DC Young Fly.
Clarkson never disappoints for Halloween, and she has debuted a few other spooky and fabulous costumes through the years. In 2019, she summoned the witches of Hocus Pocus by dressing up as Winifred Sanderson. Then, in 2020, she took a page from Meryl Streep's book by dressing up as her character Madeline Ashton from the 1992 movie, Death Becomes Her. In 2021, she wore the classic ghostbuster costume, which coincided with the release of Ghostbusters: Afterlife. Last year, she upped the glam to dress as an ethereal ghost.
"I am kind of like a Stevie Nicks ghost," she said, according to Country Living. "That was my vibe."
The fifth season of the Kelly Clarkson show premiered on on October 16. Clarkson has welcomed Alanis Morissette, Darius Rucker, Jana Kramer, Sam Heughan and more on the show so far. The rest of Halloween week will include interviews with Jacob Elordi, Chef José Andrés, Matt Rogers, David Duchovny, Meg Ryan and Kat Graham.
