It's true — '90s nostalgia is here in a big way. And no one is doing it better than Lauren Alaina does in her new song "Ladies in the '90s." The song pays tribute to all the women who ruled the radio in the '90s, from the Dixie Chicks and Deana Carter to pop queens like Britney Spears and Destiny's Child.
The song outlines what hearing female voices on the radio meant for young women as they were growing up.
"The backseat's where I started singing all the songs that got me dreaming," Alaina sings in the pop-country jam. "I'd scream 'Turn it up!' and then I'd lose it."
