George Strait celebrates his favorite tequila in his brand new song "Código," which he wrote with his son Bubba Strait and longtime collaborator Dean Dillon.
The fiddle and accordion-heavy song is a little Doug Sahm, a little Bob Wills and a whole lot of Strait party anthem perfection.
"I'm talkin' 'bout Código/I take it with me everywhere I go," Strait sings. "A little sip and you're ready to go...I'm talkin' 'bout Código."
The King of Country is a longtime fan of Código tequila and even partnered with the brand in 2017.
The song is the first new music Strait has released since his 2015 album Cold Beer Conversation.
