New Instagram account @junkfoodleaks was one of the first to get insight into the new flavor. According to the account, they "have the privilege of sourcing new and unreleased samples of junk before they become available to the general public." and it seems like the new flavor of M&M's was a home run for the account's first post.
Instagram blogger @Junkfoodleaks has all the details on the new brownie flavor. From the first look, these candies are larger than normal M&M's (think the size of peanut M&M's) and rounder. They suggest once you pop in a few of the fudge brownie candies that you let them sit in your mouth for a bit, letting the gooey texture of a warm brownie come through. Once you swallow, there's a hint of brownie aftertaste that tastes just like you licked the whisk in your own kitchen.
While there isn't a clear release date noted yet, the account shares that the new candy will be available "fall or sooner" which means you might be able to snack on these decadent candies on Halloween. There is also no indication on the purple product bag whether they will be a permanent part of the M&M's lineup or available only for a limited time.
