Dolly Parton leans into her rock 'n' roll era further with the latest additions to her Doggy Parton brand of pet apparel, accessories and toys. The new products are available online and in store through Petco.
"Pet lovers and Dolly fans alike can now treat their four-legged friends to the epitome of pet fashion with the dazzling Doggy Parton collection," reads the press release. "From glamorous, glittery gowns to show-stopping moto jackets, cozy beds and plush toys, every piece is a tribute to Dolly's timeless style, her god dog Billy The Kid and love for animals. This exclusive line encompasses a variety of sizes to ensure that pets of all breeds can enjoy a touch of Dolly's glamor. Unique products available at Petco include a limousine toy inspired by Dolly's iconic song and album White Limozeen, a sparkly pink collar for cats, fun variations of the classic Dolly wig with a butterfly hair accessory and a matching pink and silver dress and cowboy hat."
There's also multiple gingham-patterned dog outfits and chewy toys themed around everything from a pink, animal print-lined high heel to a winking butterfly and a cup of ambition.
"I've always said that a little extra sparkle can make anyone's day brighter, and that goes for our furry friends too!," Parton shared in a press release. "It's a 'ruff' job, but someone's got t0 do it!"
Petco's asking customers to tag photos and videos of their pets wearing or playing with items from the line with @DoggyParton and @Petco for a chance to be featured on the retailer's social channels.
As usual, Parton's donating a portion of the proceeds to charity. In this case, she's helping animal rescue Willa B. Farms.
