The rise in social media has given people easier access to celebrities and that's not always a good thing. On many occasions, stars have found themselves the subject of nasty tweets, Instagram shaming and more.
There are a lot of country stars who have fallen victim to people who seemingly have too much time on their hands, but that doesn't mean they have to put up with it. While some stars may stay silent, others fight back. Here are 10 country stars who have no problem slamming internet trolls.

Carrie Underwood
Last spring, Carrie Underwood was furious when a man was bullying her trainer, Erin Oprea, on social media.
The man snapped a photo of Oprea working out on the sidelines at her son's soccer game. Under the post he asks, "would it be wrong of me to tell her that every dad at the soccer field thinks her standing out front with her jump rope for two hours only screams she wants attention? And I can only imagine what the soccer moms are thinking."
Oprea retaliated with a post of her own and Underwood applauded her.
"Way to go, Erin! Use someone else's negativity to help others. That man obviously has a big problem...with himself," she wrote in an Instagram post addressing the incident. Underwood went on shaming the man for bullying stating clearly that it is just "not cool."
Blake Shelton
Blake Shelton is no stranger to coming in contact with Twitter trolls. He gives out just as much as he takes. In his latest battle back in March of this year, Shelton ingeniously responds to remarks of his wardrobe.
"If I had to guess, @blakeshelton owns 5 shirts and they are all the same black 3/4 length button up," the Tweet read. Shelton responded simply with two words.
Chris Young
Chris Young and Cassadee Pope have developed a strong bond over the years. Together, they released the No. 1 hit single "Think Of You," and performed the tune together all over the globe.
During a solo performance at one of his shows this past October, a fan tweeted out to Chris Young.
"Thank you @ChrisYoungMusic for not making us have to hear @CassadeePope's overly autotuned voice during Think Of You."
When Chris Young saw the tweet, he had no problem fighting back in Pope's defense.
Jessie James Decker
Bullying will not be tolerated by Jessie James Decker especially when those are lashing out at her husband, Eric Decker. When Decker was a part of the NY Jets in 2014, he asked fans to explain what they loved most about the team. Fans slammed the quarterback with all kinds of negative tweets.
"Because I'm a masochist and enjoy the weekly abuse," one fan tweeted. Another tweeted they loved the Jets because "no matter how bad this team is, it always seems to get worse."
Jessie James Decker responded in her husband's defense.
Kasey Musgraves
Kacey Musgraves' straight-forward attitude has won her both fans and critics. She was once accosted by a beauty queen for not staying for photos after a performance. This past December, a guy named Rob took to Twitter to express his opinion of the singer.
"Kacey Musgraves is overrated," Rob Tweeted.
She cleverly responded with a mom joke.
Darius Rucker
Don't mess with the Gamecocks in front of Darius Rucker. A scheduled concert by Rucker for the Carolina team was not taken well by its bitter rivals of Clemson University. A host of tweets back and forth between Rucker and Clemson fans was laughable, but the one below threw some serious shade.
Kelsea Ballerini
If you've ever been to a Kelsea Ballerini concert, you'll definitely laugh at the Twitter troll who thinks she can't play guitar.
"If you're going to pretend to play the guitar, at least be good at it," they tweeted to Ballerini.
The original tweet has since been deleted, most likely out of embarrassment, after Ballerini's "in your face" response.
Kip Moore
Kip Moore is one of the most unapologetically real artists in today's music scene. If you don't like him, he doesn't care. But if you mess with his fans, he'll come running for you. A few years back, Moore saw trolls poking fun at fan photos on his Facebook page and here's what he had to say to them.
