But as the trailer for her upcoming Netflix documentary reveals, "sometimes the Lord just has other plans."

What Is the Documentary About?

Titled Lainey Wilson: Keepin' Country Cool, the film documents the "Somewhere Over Laredo" singer's long rise to fame and how she met her fiancé, Devlin "Duck" Hodges.

Last month, we reported about when she met the former NFL star.

"I was broke. I was so broke when we met," she shared. "And he thought I was doing a little bit better than I was. But a few weeks after we met, my sister had to Venmo me a couple hundred bucks."

The trailer also reveals Wilson's life behind the scenes. Despite what you may see in concert or on social media, the 33-year-old singer says she doesn't have her "s*** all together."

"It is a whirlwind. The performer, the artist, the songwriter, the girl who's going to shake everybody's hand," she said. There's even one point in the trailer where she shares that she is "just about people-d out."

However, that doesn't mean she isn't grateful for her career.

"I am thankful for the life that I live," she said. "It's about celebrating what we are given. It is a gift. This is all a gift."

Lainey Wilson Is Sharing Her Fertility Journey

In the documentary trailer, Wilson is seen in a hospital gown with Hodges by her side. She says, "I'm gonna freeze my eggs in April, put them babies on ice."

This isn't the first time that the singer has spoken about wanting to be a mom. We reported last month that she and Hodges have been thinking about parenthood.

"We definitely want to have a family, you know, time is ticking," she said. "Time is always ticking, yeah. But I think he and I would both be good parents, and I'd love to see him be a dad. We're gonna get married, we're gonna do the whole thing, and kids will be later. But we're definitely going to do it."

But what the documentary is really about Wilson's music.

"People keep saying country's cool again," she says in the trailer. "Well, I say it never stopped being cool. The world just caught up."
