Lainey Wilson seems to excel at anything she puts her mind to. She is a phenomenal singer with a slew of major industry awards, a fashion trend-setter, an accomplished actress (her movie debut, Reminders of Him, drops on March 13), a bride-to-be, and maybe a mother someday? That is apparently in the cards for the "Somewhere Over Laredo" singer. Wilson recently dished about her behind-the-scenes life with her fiancé, Devlin "Duck" Hodges. She sure sounds like momhood is on her mind.

Hodges Keeps Wilson Centered
Amidst the glitz and glam of the music world, Lainey Wilson still likes to be a down-to-earth person. She keeps it real, with the help of Hodges, of course. When she stopped by the No Filter podcast with Kate Langbroek, Wilson opened up about their shared downtime.
She said, "Oh my gosh... even if I'm not in Nashville at my house, he is home. We've been gone a month now, and I can FaceTime him, and just for a minute, I feel at home. He helps me kind of come back down to my center, and he's just my biggest cheerleader, really."
Wilson and Hodges' existence is completely unfussy, cozy, and not at all fancy. It's just laid-back domesticity, which suits both of them just fine.
It's Dogs and a "Simple" Life for Them
The singer went on, "Two dogs, he has a little black lab, her name is Willow, and she is the sweetest dog. And prior to Duck, I had one named Hippie, and she is a French bulldog... It's just us. We load up on the 4X4 and ride around, we do all the simple things in life."
She added, "That's the things that bring us the most happiness, like riding down the road and going to hang out with the neighbors and things like that."
Parenthood May Be in the Offing
Wilson divulged a few tantalizing hints about her and Hodges' thinking on the subject. "We definitely want to have a family, you know, time is ticking. Time is always ticking, yeah. But I think he and I would both be good parents, and I'd love to see him be a dad. We're gonna get married, we're gonna do the whole thing, and kids will be later. But we're definitely going to do it."
