"You guys are my people," the 54-year-old actress told her MeSsy podcast co-host, Jamie Lynn Sigler (who herself suffers from multiple sclerosis), on the latest episode.

"I'm still your warrior, and I'm still going to speak out on your behalf forever and ever," the Anchorman star added. "I still feel like part of this community, and no matter what, I love you. I love you, that's all."

Sigler went on to assure fans of the podcast that Applegate's misdiagnosis didn't spell the end of the show.

"This is just about our lives and the messiness of life in general," she insisted. "It was never meant to be solely MS-focused."

The Married... with Children star first disclosed she'd been diagnosed with MS back in 2021. However, after being very open about her health issues over the years, Applegate revealed last week that she didn't have MS after all.

"[My doctor] came into my room and said, 'Congratulations, you don't have MS,'" she recalled at the time.

"I was, like, not happy at all. Everybody else was so happy," she continued. "You don't get misdiagnosed and then all of a sudden I'm better," an emotional Applegate pointed out. "I haven't gotten better. If anything, I've gotten worse."

However, a week later, the actress seemed a bit more hopeful.

"I feel okay," she told fans, adding that she's had a ton of support since the revelation. "That's all I can want."

Christina Applegate Opens Up About Her Health Journey Following MS Misdiagnosis

That said, her mysterious health issues continue. Applegate detailed her struggles with mobility in the new episode of her podcast.

"I actually timed it today," she explained. "It took me 10 minutes to be able to move off my pillow, get out of the bed, and stand up, at which point I almost couldn't walk to the bathroom, and now a walker is sitting next to my bed because of what's going on. I don't know what's going on. You know, this is what I'm still living with."

"And I never had that before," she added. "I was able to sit up and stuff, so this is what I said when things are getting worse, or they're just new."

Meanwhile, Sigler pointed out that an MS misdiagnosis isn't that uncommon.

"I think a lot of people feel very seen," she told Applegate. "It's ignited and supported a conversation that's been out there but maybe not getting the visibility or attention that some people felt that it should."

Applegate, who previously said she felt like she was back at "square one" after the misdiagnosis, also revealed her next step in her health journey: seeing a rheumatologist.

"You know, we'll go from there," she continued. "If that doesn't come with any kind of results, then we're going to go to a different specialist and then a different specialist."

The Bad Moms actress admitted that the new path toward figuring out her illness was daunting.

"That starts to overwhelm me...I think I just have to go, all right, one step at a time."

Currently, no single test can diagnose MS.
