Carrie Underwood gave fans a taste of new music over the weekend.

If you tuned into the playoff game between the Atlanta Falcons and the Los Angeles Rams this weekend, you likely heard samples of her new song "The Champion." Snippets of the track were played over highlights from each team's season.

"The Champion" includes uplifting lyrics like, "I am invincible, unbreakable, unstoppable, unshakable." It's unclear if the song was written specifically for the NFL or if it will be included on Underwood's next record.

Carrie has spent the last few months out of the public eye after taking a fall outside her Nashville home. Last week, the country star revealed that the fall caused more injuries than was previously made public. Along with injuries to her wrist, she had over 40 stitches placed in her face.

In a recent statement, Underwood warned fans that she may not "look the same" after the facial injury. Although she currently has no tour dates announced for 2018, Underwood is expected to appear at the 2018 ACM Awards in Las Vegas this April.
