You Can't Beat Bulleit Bourbon's Aromatic Flavor and Smooth Drinkability

Everyone has a favorite alcohol brand, whether you're into Irish whiskey or London Dry gin. When it comes to bourbon, it depends on your preferences, but it's hard to go wrong with a Kentucky whiskey full of sweet aromatic flavors and a touch of spice. Bulleit bourbon is the wonderfully smooth Kentucky straight bourbon whiskey that all whiskey aficionados need to have in their liquor cabinet.

What is Bulleit Bourbon?

Bulleit Bourbon was first produced back in the 1830's by Augustus Bulleit, the great great grandfather of Tom Bulleit, who currently runs the distillery. The recipe used currently follows the mash bill that the whiskey's original creator created, which was one third rye and two thirds corn.

Specifically, Bulleit Bourbon is 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley, and is bottled at 40% ABV after being age for at least six years. This classic bourbon is beloved for many reasons, from its high rye content to its smooth palate.

Produced in Lawrenceburg, Kentucky by Diageo, Bulleit bourbon has notes of maple, oak, nutmeg and toffee. The four Bulleit bourbons are classic Bulleit Bourbon Whiskey, Bulleit Bourbon Barrel Strength, Bulleit Bourbon 10 Year, and Bulleit Rye Whiskey.
