Blake Shelton Gifted Carson Daly's Daughter the Most Unusual Gift

London Daly took home a curiosity from Blake Shelton's Oklahoma ranch.

Blake Shelton's owned multiple raccoons, from a childhood pet to a taxidermy oddity that caught the eye of Carson Daly's 9-year-old daughter, London, when the Daly family stayed at Shelton's Oklahoma ranch.

"His middle daughter just fell in love with this thing, like, what is wrong with your kid?" Shelton recalled on Jimmy Kimmel Live! "She was up on the counter holding it and petting it.

"By the time they were going to leave, I was like, she's got to take this thing. It's going to break her heart," he continued.

Daly confirmed the tale on Today, adding the detail that the raccoon is named Raccoony.

"So, a dead raccoon gets stuffed, London falls in love with it, and Blake gives it to you?," Today's Craig Melvin asked Daly.

"It wasn't actually his pet raccoon I guess, but nonetheless Blake gave us the raccoon and it's still in our house today", Daly responded, adding that Shelton's "an idiot. Officially an idiot."

Daly added that London's scared of dogs, so she gravitates toward raccoons.

Of course, the Barmageddon co-hosts' back-and-forth is good-natured teasing between two close friends.

"He's become one of the closest people in my life, to be honest with you," Daly told Today in 2021. "We're very close, which is ironic because I — obviously, you know, I'm a producer on the show, I'm involved in recruiting coaches. I've talked some people into doing the show. And he was the person I knew the least. And so it's just ironic that 10 years later, he's the one that I'm definitely closest with. Our families vacation together at this point, and so I'm very grateful. Aside from what the show, from an employment standpoint, has done for me and my family, you know, my friendship with Blake is probably the next best thing I've yielded by being on the show."
