Bias Takes 'The Voice' to Church With Larry Fleet Cover

"You had me saying amen and hallelujah..."

"The Voice" continued Monday night with the Playoff round, and this time, Team Reba and Team Gwen took the stage to impress the coaches and fans. Stefani's only country artist, Bias, succeeded in advancing to the next round after his inspiring rendition of Larry Fleet's "Where I Find God."

The performance allowed the coaches to see a different side of the Bias. He often hits the stage with a high energy tune, but this song showcased his softer side. He delivered a mostly pitch-perfect rendition of the tune, and he infused plenty of feeling as he sang about all the seemingly ordinary places he finds God.

The performance certainly took on a gospel feeling, and John Legend reflected that in his analysis of the performance.

"This was my favorite performance of yours," Legend said. "[You] took us to church. You had me saying amen and hallelujah and waving my hands in the air."

Reba McEntire and Niall Horan also praised Bias' performance. McEntire mentioned that all Bias' fellow Tennessee residents will find them saying "Yee-Haw!" after the rendition, and Horan said the singer gets "better and better" with every performance.

"It was really nice to see the more toned-back side of you this time," Horan said. He then recommended that Gwen (whom he calls "Gwennie") put Bias through to the next round.

Stefani also got the chance to praise Bias' performance.

"I just saw something in you from the very beginning of the blinds. Your originality is so pure, and the way you did it tonight was absolutely perfect," said Stefani. "I just feel so honored and proud of you and excited for you, and your mustache is so cute!"

Bias did make it through to the next round, joining two other talented singers from Team Gwen.

"The Voice" airs Monday and Tuesday nights on NBC.
