But what if you could get gift recommendations from a search engine with access to millions of products and customer reviews? Now that would be a gift guide worth checking out — and it's exactly what the Google Holiday 100 is.
Drawing from U.S. search trends that took place between June and September 2023, the Holiday 100 rounds up the products and brands that meet one of three criteria. They hit an all-time high in search interest, had a dramatically high search interest compared to pre-pandemic levels, or showed some other noteworthy search pattern. Google also asked three noteworthy tastemakers — YouTuber Emma Chamberlain, Miami Heat's Jimmy Butler, and actress Stephanie Hsu — to share their top pick for the holiday season.

Hands-Free Dog Leash
As any dog owner knows, walks can be a hassle when your furry friend insists on stopping to sniff every bush and tree. A hands-free leash lets you use your phone or carry a coffee without constantly having to tug Fido back into place. We love this one because it has a carrying pouch for even more convenience.
Instant-Print Camera for Kids
Kids these days are so tech-savvy that it's hard to impress them with a gadget. But this instant-print camera is sure to do the trick. It combines the nostalgia of a Polaroid with modern features such as scene filters and even stickers.
Stanley Quencher
This cup has a cult following for a reason. It's a whopping 40 ounces, can keep your drinks hot or cold for hours, and has a handle for easy carrying. Plus, it comes in multiple fun colors and designs.
Lululemon Everywhere Belt Bag
File this under things you don't know you need until it's too late. This large belt bag can fit your phone, keys, a granola bar or two, and more. It also has an adjustable strap for the perfect fit and interior pockets for extra storage.
Seed Starter Kits
All of the green thumbs (and green thumb hopefuls) on your list will appreciate a seed starter kit. This one comes with everything they need to start growing herbs and vegetables indoors, minus the actual seeds.
Candle Warmers
For the friend who loves candles but hates the smoke and fire hazards, a candle warmer is a game changer. It melts the wax using heat and has scheduled shut-off options for added safety. Plus, it doubles as a nightlight with its dimmable feature.
Neck Fans
If you live in a hot and humid climate or have someone on your list who spends a lot of time outside, a neck fan is an absolute must-have. This one is hands-free and lightweight, and it has three adjustable speeds to keep you cool on the go.
Press-On Nails
These press-on nails are not your average drugstore find. They come in trendy designs and can last up to two weeks. Plus, they're reusable, so your fashion-forward friend can keep their nails looking Instagram-worthy without breaking the bank.
Cookie Press
This is one of those mutually beneficial gifts. The recipient gets the convenience of a cookie press, and you get (hopefully) delicious cookies in return. This one from OXO has a comfortable grip, includes stainless steel discs for different shapes, and is easy to store.
Squishmallows
There's something so satisfying about squishing a plush toy, and Squishmallows are the ultimate in softness. They come in various sizes and adorable animal designs, making them perfect for kids — and kids at heart.
Speed cubes
Move over, Rubik's Cube; there's a new (and faster) puzzle in town. This speed cube is designed to improve hand-eye coordination, concentration and overall cognitive skills. Plus, it comes with a tutorial to help beginners get started.
Puzzle Vases
Everyone loves a good puzzle, but a puzzle that also doubles as a vase is next-level gift-giving. These 3D plastic puzzle vases come in various designs and can be used as a standalone decorative piece once completed.
LEGO Bonsai Tree
Another unique puzzle option, this LEGO bonsai tree set is perfect for any plant lover or LEGO enthusiast. It comes with all of the pieces needed to create a beautiful replica of a cherry blossom bonsai tree, complete with interchangeable elements for different seasons.
