A 17-year-old has been arrested after allegedly crashing through the perimeter fence of a New Hampshire airport while fleeing police before striking a plane and a tractor.

The bizarre incident unfolded at Portsmouth International Airport just after 8 p.m. on Sunday.
Authorities identified the suspect as Wyatt Seely, 17, who police allege was intoxicated while behind the wheel when the pursuit and crash occurred.
Airport Crash Ends Police Pursuit
Police said Seely was driving a black 2008 Ford Mustang on Durham Street in Portsmouth when state troopers attempted to pull him over.
According to authorities, officers were searching for "a vehicle related to reported crimes in other local jurisdictions."
However, Seely allegedly refused to stop and fled from officers, triggering a police pursuit that eventually reached the nearby airport.
"The Mustang, which did not have its lights on at the time, then crashed through a perimeter fence of the nearby Portsmouth International Airport and traveled across an aircraft parking apron," officials said.
Authorities said Seely then struck a Kubota tractor and a small plane before the Mustang eventually came to a stop.
The aircraft was stationary and unoccupied at the time of the collision.
Teenager Arrested Following Bizarre Airport Incident
State troopers quickly apprehended Seely and took him into custody following the crash.
Emergency crews also transported the teenager to a nearby hospital for evaluation as a precaution. Authorities reported no other injuries during either the pursuit or subsequent crash.
The Portsmouth Police and Fire departments, Newington Police Department, and Pease Fire and Emergency Services all assisted during the incident.
Authorities have charged Seely with misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated (DWI) and aggravated driving while intoxicated.
He also faces charges of disobeying a police officer and conduct after an accident, along with a violation-level reckless driving offense.
Seely is scheduled to appear in Portsmouth District Court for his arraignment on September 9, 2026.
New Hampshire State Police have urged anyone with information that could assist the ongoing investigation to contact the department.
Authorities are expected to release further details as the investigation and legal proceedings move forward over the coming weeks.
