Speaking with The Cut for a story published Monday, Sept. 14, the "Not Fair" singer confessed that West End Girl is the first tour she's conducted sober.
"It's ... different because I'm not drunk and high, which I always have been in the past when I've been onstage. This is the first tour that I've done sober," she shared.
"It doesn't feel very rock and roll," Allen explained. "Like, we come offstage, and we play Monopoly. And sometimes I get into my pajamas, and I just go straight into the car and back to my hotel room."

The pop star added that although her post-concert lifestyle isn't quite as raucous, she believes it is a healthier alternative for her.
"But at the same time, I really don't miss the f---ing hangovers and getting to the airport the next day with a pounding head. Having to wear sunglasses and stinking of alcohol," Allen added.
Allen, a former Grammy nominee, released her newest album, "West End Girl," in October 2025. The album explores the end of her marriage to "Stranger Things" actor David Harbour.
Earlier this year, Harbour broke his silence on his ex-wife's album in a June interview with Variety.
"It is the privilege of every artist to use their experience to create art," he responded when asked about West End Girl."
"And so, I respect her for doing that," the actor said. "I don't think I could say it's all true."
"Stories are complex," he added. "And that's why I say I respect her creation of art to channel her experience. [But] it wasn't my experience."
During her exclusive interview with The Cut, Allen responded to Harbour's comments.
"I think that was a generous thing for him to say," she said.
"He's having a real moment of success as well, right? He's been nominated for an Emmy, and it's great. We're all doing our own thing, and we're all doing what we're supposed to do," she added.
