Luke Bryan is one busy man. Between being a judge on American Idol and being one of the most successful country stars today, it's hard to believe the guy has time for anything else. However, Bryan recently told People that his family is what "keeps him grounded" amid his crazy lifestyle.

If Bryan could be anywhere, it would be hunting and fishing with his kids. The country singer has two sons with his wife, Caroline Boyer: Thomas "Bo" Boyer and Tatum "Tate" Christopher.
"I just wake up, put my pants on and get to work," he shared of his lifestyle. "And growing up on a farm and [with] family, kind of have that working mentality. But what grounds me is my family, my boys. Going back home to the farm, and fishing, and hunting, and golfing and taking the family on all that stuff."
Right now, the singer is focused on keeping things balanced, but also staying grateful for everything he's built so far.
"I don't want to be going to a photo shoot and complaining about it," he shared. "I want to try to make sure I'm enjoying every aspect of my career because, thank God, that's the work I put in to get to this point, to just enjoy the back half of the career."
How A Sudden Loss Gave Luke Bryan Three More Kids
Bryan has two biological sons with his wife, but he also helped raise his sister's kids, Jordan, Kris, and Til. In 2007, Bryan's sister, Kelly, passed away from a rare condition called Sudden Death Syndrome. This is when a healthy person passes away for no particular reason.
Seven years later, in 2014, Kelly's husband, Ben Lee Cheshire also died from a heart attack, leaving their three kids orphaned. That's when Luke and Caroline decided to step up and take care of their two nieces and nephew.
At the time, Jordan, the eldest, was 20, and Kris was 16. Til was 13, but still older than Bryan's biological kids, who were 6 and 4 at the time. Bryan spoke with ABC on what it was like raising a teenager earlier than expected.
I woke up one day and I'm raising a teen," he shared. "And it's a challenge because my main thing with Til is just properly giving the right amount of advice and realizing you're talking to someone who is becoming an adult. I have to be that parent role where if he does something, he needs to get in trouble, but I want to be a friend to him too. We're buddies now, though, kinda... until he makes me be an adult."
Now, Luke is focused on raising Bo and Tate, who are 17 and 15.
