Lindsey Buckingham, guitarist of Fleetwood Mac, has finally managed to secure a restraining order over his alleged stalker who's been causing him grief for years. The police incident some weeks ago was the last straw.

In Touch has been litigiously reporting on the case between Buckingham and his alleged stalker, Michelle. According to court documents the outlet obtained, an LAPD Detective informed the court that Michelle, 52, had been served by a deputy on December 2.
She was served at a location five hours away from where Buckingham lives in Los Angeles.
Apparently, the court has ordered Michelle to stay 100 feet away from Buckingham and his family, which includes Lindsey's wife, Kristen, and his son, William. The outlet does not divulge how long the temporary restraining order will last. It may be made permanent, however.
Later this month, at an unconfirmed date, another court hearing will proceed which will determine whether Michelle should be served a permanent restraining order against the musician and his family. For the sake of their safety following the police arrests, I hope the hearing goes their way.
Lindsey Buckingham Stalker Struck Again Recently
Buckingham has been harassed by Michelle since 2021. After bombarding the family with nonstop phone calls, threats, and insane claims, the police finally got involved in 2022. After the police visit, Michelle's activity calmed down. But not forever.
Michelle resumed her harassment in November this year. She tampered with his mailbox and, more distressingly, made a fake 911 call.
The stalker told police that she heard William in their house, who apparently wanted to harm himself. She then said she heard gunshots, so the police stormed Lindsey's house and cuffed him during the night.
What's even worse, is that Michelle never stopped his son, William, since 2021, and he never said a word about it.
So it's clear that Lindsey Buckingham has had enough. Although the restraining order is only temporary, it's a promising sign that things will go their way. The unabashed disruption Michelle has wrecked upon their lives may finally be coming to a close.
