Margo Price, "A Little Pain"

We can hardly wait for Margo Price's sophomore album All American Madeout Oct. 20 on Third Man Records. Thankfully, we have "A Little Pain," a slice of old school Memphis soul, to listen to on repeat. Price recorded All American Made at Sam Phillips Recording in Memphis.

Lee Ann Womack, "Hollywood"

Lee Ann Womack's latest release from her upcoming album The Lonely, The Lonesome and The Gone looks to the land of the stars to sum up relationship doubts. "Hollywood," co-written by Womack, Waylon Payne and Adam Wright, is straight-up vintage country soul that sounds like Buck Owens at a Tinseltown martini bar. The Lonely, The Lonesome and the Gone is out Oct. 27 on ATO Records. Womack will make several appearances this week at Nashville's AmericanaFest.

Brent Cobb, "Ain't a Road Too Long"

Brent Cobb released one of the most impressive debut albums in recent years with 2016's Shine On Rainy DayNow Cobb is hard at work on his 2018 follow up album. His latest, "Ain't a Road Too Long" is a southern rock stomp for every blue collar dreamer. Cobb is up for Emerging Artist of the Year at this week's Americana Music Awards.

David Ramirez, "People Call Who They Wanna Talk To"

David Ramirez released his incredible album We're Not Going Anywhere last week. "People Call Who They Wanna Talk To," a blend of modern Americana with breezy 1970s sound, is one of the record's brightest moments.

Charley Crockett

Texas-born blues singer Charley Crockett explores the American honky tonk songbook with his newly released Lil G.L.'s Honky Tonk Jubilee. The album features classic country covers from legends such as Hank Williams and Ernest Tubb. The barroom classic "You're Still On My Mind," previously recorded by George Jones, is the perfect showcase for Crockett's lonesome voice. Crockett will perform this week at the 2017 AmericanaFest in Nashville.
