Want to live off the grid and own a home with ties to heavy metal legends Metallica? That's all possible now that Jason Newsted's Montana ranch has hit the market.

The 545-acre piece of land, dubbed the "Rockin' JN Ranch," includes a 58,000 square-foot main home, a smaller manager's home, a greenhouse and two workshops. It carries a $4.95 million price tag.

The Los Angeles Times shared a 30-photo gallery that mostly shows off the main house's high ceilings, sprawling glass paneling and lush woodwork.

With that price comes more than just gorgeous property with ties to Metallica's bassist from 1986 to 2001. True seclusion from the outside world ranks just as high among the listing's perks.

Located in Sula, Mont., the land rests between the public lands of the Anaconda-Pintler Wilderness and Lost Trail Powder Mountain. This should separate the new owner from the mere 37 other residents of Sula. That place must have an absurd deer-to-human ratio.

In addition to Metallica, Newsted performed in the past with Flotsam and Jetsam, Voivod and Ozzy Osbourne. Currently, he plays with acoustic group Jason Newsted and the Chophouse Band.
