Zayn Malik Abruptly Cancels Tour In Health Update After Being Hospitalized: "Heartbroken"

Zayn Malik posted from hospital to share a health update to fans. And it looks like the US part of his tour is not going to happen.

Music star Zayn Malik has abruptly cancelled the U.S. leg of his Konnakol Tour after recently being hospitalized. As reported by TMZ, he shared the news on Instagram.

In a post on his story, he wrote about his decision. "To my fans: Thank you so much for all the support and love you've shown me on the album release and more importantly your love, prayers, and well wishes for my health - I've felt it, and it's meant the world"

He continued, about the tour, "I've had to take another look at my schedule for the months ahead and have to reduce the number of shows on the KONNAKOL Tour." The specific reduction was from 32 shows to 9.

The statement concluded with a wish to see people "around the world" again soon. And, as he hinted in that statement, it looks like he's certainly not seeing many people across the world.

Zayn Malik's website shows that his tour spans the UK, and then parts of Latin America. There's a pretty big gap where he was meant to be playing in the U.S. The tour goes from May 24, where he's performing in Manchester, UK, to June 14-20, where he's performing three shows in Mexico, and then another gap until October 2, where the South American leg of his tour starts.
