Ahead of a recent concert at the campus of Mississippi State University, he Bryan was met by a fan who had been waiting outside. Yet, rather than greet the fan and take a quick picture, Bryan opted for something out of the ordinary.
"You think any ghosts ever come out of the walls with a big c-shot?" Bryan asked the fan as he walked by.
Weird, right? Well, upon first hearing it, you would certainly be taken aback. However, the vulgar question actually comes from "I Think You Should Leave," which is a popular sketch show on Netflix. So, when Bryan's interaction was shared online, most people quickly made the connection and saw the funny side of things.
Unfortunately, the fan who had waited for Bryan did not.
"Been a Zach Bryan fan for abt 4 years now and I'm like his number 1 fan," the fan wrote. "When my friends think of Zach Bryan they think of me. This happend this past weekend at Starkville Mississippi about 1pm. I gotten there really early to be at the gates and saw him as I was walking up. I don't take it to heart for what he said, but still calling a fan a c*mshot after asking for a photo is kinda crazy."
The fan continued to share their disappointment.
"...I'm not trying to get him canceled or anything it's just a showing of his true self. Love his music but don't love the act. I hope everyone who sees this can get what I'm trying to say."
Zach Bryan Responded in Typical Fashion
Bryan, in typical fashion, opted to respond to the disgruntled fan.
"You guys are so soft & weird," he wrote on X.
Shortly after, Bryan deleted his account along with his Instagram.
This isn't anything new for Bryan. He's been known to get irate when dealing with social media. Nevertheless, the whole scenario has left his fanbase talking. It will be interesting to see how long Bryan remains off social media along with how he chooses to engage upon his eventual return.
