Zach Bryan refused to let a "Karen" off the hook after she shared her frustration when his recent concert in Nebraska was cut short due to inclement weather.
"I'm sorry for cutting the set short tonight," Bryan wrote on X at the time, via PEOPLE. "[Lightning] came in fast! We only missed the last six! I love you guys, the rain was a blast."
Unfortunately, one fan in particular was far from impressed and shared their frustration in a post on X.
"What a scum response to a fan who probably waited all night to see you and the opening artists," the fan
Zach quickly responded to the post, calling the fan a "Karen," in what was likely a humorous brush-off from the country singer.
"Karen ahhhh tweet," he posted.
As you can imagine, Bryan's response earned thousands of interactions. Some fans chose to pile on, others defended the fan who complained, while others simply enjoyed the humorous retort.
Zach Bryan Was Recently Trolled for a Basketball Video
Zach's decision to call out that fan was a full-circle moment. The country singer was recently experiencing online trolling after a video surfaced of him playing pickup basketball.
The video went so viral, Pat McAfee decided to wade into the conversation.
"This guy sells out stadiums. We need to show respect to what he has been able to do with a guitar and his voice," McAfee said. "Most ever at the Big House in Ann Arbor. Sells out stadiums. Okay, if you're able to sell out stadiums... I have respect for what you've been able to do."
"...They need to keep him away from the basketball court. I like that he's doing sports for cardio. I like that he's a sports fan. ... Can't have that on tape. Can't have that on tape. Okay, we need to make sure that camera's not getting out of there."
At least Zach knows what it feels like when the entire internet is poking fun at you. That way, we can't accuse him of posting without knowing the full impact of his decision.
