Per a Wednesday (November 4) report from TMZ, Moreland was recently arrested for sex crimes. He allegedly tried to meet a 13-year-old girl for sex, according to the outlet.

The Philadelphia Eagles superfan was arrested in Las Vegas on Wednesday. He will be extradited to Kern County, California, the County District Attorney confirmed in a statement to the outlet.

Moreland faces charges of attempted lewd or lascivious acts with a child under 14, meeting with a minor for lewd purposes, contacting a minor with intent to commit a sexual offense, and sending content with the intent to seduce a minor. According to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The catalyst for the streamer's arrest was a documentary titled The Sick Mind of EDP445. The film outlined the sting operation where Moreland was led to believe that he was meeting up with a 13-year-old girl for sex. However, he was met by another YouTuber who was there to expose his criminal activities.

Additionally, Moreland had a one-on-one with To Catch a Predator Host, Chris Hansen. During his sit-down with Hansen on his Have a Seat podcast, EDP admitted to meeting up with the teen in an effort to have sex with her.

"I showed up to that location that day trying to obviously meet up with an underage girl. You know what I mean? And I guess you can say .... I don't know ... trying to have sex," he told Hansen in the interview.

The Kern County District Attorney confirmed that Moreland's comments led to him being hit with a slew of charges.

"In light of recent statements made by Moreland in the documentary, the Kern County District Attorney's Office and the Kern County Sheriff's Office reopened the investigation," the DA said in a statement obtained by TMZ. "Following its review of the new evidence, the District Attorney's Office determined that the evidentiary threshold for filing criminal charges had been met."
