The cowboy and actor who played senior ranch hand Lloyd Pierce in Yellowstone took to Instagram to wish everyone a Happy New Year, and also to deliver some cryptic advice.
Yellowstone ended last year to mixed reviews, although most were sad that it's over. Hopes for a sixth season and rumors of spin-offs have been circulating pretty heavily, however, and Smith has only added more fuel to the fire.
In his Instagram video, Smith says, "Happy New Year, y'all," he begins. He brings up the news of the passing of Sammy Thurman Brackenbury, who was a dear friend of his.
Smith then kicks back into gear, saying, "God bless y'all, Happy New Year's, and hey, Yellowstone addicts - I would stay together."
"One, out of honor to Cody Ring. And two, Taylor Sheridan, he ain't said it's over."
Cody Ring was a Yellowstone superfan and formed a fan group.
To end the video, he trails off with a smile, "I don't, you know..."

We all know that the Yellowstone franchise isn't over, with new prequel and sequel content being released and confirmed by insider sources.
With his knowing smile, it appears that we can expect Lloyd Pierce to be involved in one of these future projects. Which on is unknown, however, although Smith seems pretty excited about it.
Paramount has already confirmed The Maddison, a sequel to Yellowstone. The prequel 1923 is also getting another season, and reportedly, Taylor Sheridan is working on another series titled 1944.
Deadline has revealed that their sources indicate a spin-off series with Beth Dutton and Rip Wheeler.
There are other rumored shows in the works, although nothing confirmed.
It's not clear if Forrie J. Smith is referencing an announced work or something yet to come, but we'll just have to wait and see.
