Liv Morgan is destined for Hollywood. The WWE superstar has rapidly shot to fame in recent years, as she's become the face of WWE's women's division. Like multiple superstars before her, Morgan has already set her sights on moving into the acting world in the near future.

According to Deadline, Morgan is taking another step closer to making that goal a reality. She's been cast in an upcoming psychological thriller called Ping.
"Ping examines the promises of modern work that can push us to work harder and longer, sometimes at the expense of ourselves - it asks those of us living through burnout culture: what is enough?" writer and director Richie Gordon told The Deadline.
For Morgan, real name Gionna Daddio, this will be her second movie role. She previously appeared in the 2023 movie The Kill Room, where she played her WWE character. Notably, though, Morgan has also made some appearances in TV Shows, most notably an episode of Chucky in 2022.
John Cena is less than a year removed from his WWE retirement. He made that decision so that he can focus on his Hollywood career. Morgan appears to be the next in line to walk the now well-trodden road. Of course, we're still a few years away from her making the step into acting full-time, if that ever happens.
LIV Morgan Also Has Another Acting Credit Coming Up
Ping isn't the only upcoming acting work Morgan has on her plate. She's also slated to appear in Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo, which has already been completed and is awaiting release.
Unfortunately, for WWE fans, that may mean Morgan's time on WWE programming is set to dwindle, at least for a little while. As such, any storylines that she's currently involved in will either need to be wrapped up, or find a way to be put on pause.
Fortunately, when you're one of the biggest stars of your division, time away from the ring can actually help. Fans will be excited for when she returns, and know that her time may be split as more acting work comes her way. After all, it's something WWE has become accustomed to over the last two decades.
