WWE Star Discloses Eating Disorder

When a fitness influencer on Instagram had quite a bit to say about her appearance, Rhea Ripley decided to clap back.

A fitness influencer on Instagram had quite a bit to say about Rhea Ripley's appearance.

Captioned "What happened to Rhea?", the user who posts under the tag @_revivalfitness posted a video about a change in her appearance.

Interestingly, he didn't tag the WWE wrestler in his post, so he was probably surprised that she responded to his comments.

What Did the Influencer Say About Rhea Ripley?

In the clip, the influencer speculated on why Ripley's appearance changed. He first posts a before-and-after image of the WWE Diva, which states "she slimmed down due to back pain caused by her muscle mass."

"Muscle mass does not cause back pain directly," he said. "It could be the case that the training she was doing was exacerbating the back pain. You can lose some muscle mass if your training goes down by a noticeable degree."

He then says that people have "commented that she's probably off steroids." The influencer acknowledged that it was possible.

As he continues to post images of the wrestler throughout her career, he states that Ripley "lost her aura" due to fat loss.

How Did Ripley Respond?

Several fans tagged Ripley in the video's comments while defending her appearance.

"Leave female bodies alone," one person wrote.

"You look amazing no matter what, always prioritize your health above all else," another commented.

One fan commented, "When did it become OK to comment on people's bodies! She looks great no matter what size she is."

Amidst the conversation, Ripley then dropped in and spoke for herself.

She wrote, "Just a little eating disorder that I'm actively trying to handle."

Apparently, this isn't the first time the WWE star has had to deal with body shaming online. She commented about what people were saying on X last month:

"Too manly.

Too bulky.

Too muscly.

Too much sex appeal.

Too lean / skinny.

It's comical really

1. You know nothing about me and what's going on in my life or my mental.

2. Post a photo of yourself.

You won't."

Despite this online attention, Ripley is still dominating in the ring. She won the 2026 Women's Elimination Chamber match on Feb. 28 in Chicago, which punched her ticket to WrestleMania this weekend.
