TMZ has since obtained and released the 911 call from a member of the public who found the talented high-flyer unconscious. The call begins with a woman explaining that she has been knocking on his car window for what seemed like five minutes.

"He's not answering. I've been knocking on the window for like five minutes," the caller said. "And my, apparently, eyes are open too."

The caller was then asked if they could see Satterley's chest rising and falling, indicating that he was breathing.

"It's definitely not," the caller said. "I don't see it moving. I don't see it moving at all."

A medical team was then sent out to Satterley's location in a CAVA restaurant parking lot in Des Plaines, Illinois. He was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.

Shockingly, the whole incident occurred just hours after Satterley had competed at AEW's All-Out in Chicago. It is believed that his vehicle was still running when his body was found.

Ben Satterley Was Heading to the Airport

According to Fox News, when Satterley's body was found in the vehicle, his phone still had Google Maps up. The location had already been punched in, indicating the AEW, and former WWE star was heading to O'Hare International Airport in Chicago. He was approximately 20 miles from his destination at the time.

"An officer wrote that medication was found in Satterley's backpack and hotel room keys were recovered," Fox News reports; however, the names of the medication were redacted.

It is believed that Satterley, originally from Newcastle, England, was traveling to catch a flight back to the UK. He was 40 years old.

Since his death, AEW has produced an entire episode of AEW Dynamite in tribute to the talented wrestler. WWE has since uploaded almost 40 minutes of footage where his former colleagues paid tribute to both his talents and to him as a human being.

Satterley's cause of death is still under investigation.
