Emily Ann Roberts, who first achieved recognition on Season 9 of The Voice, happens to be good friends with Ella Langley. Roberts says that while there's nothing in the works right now, a music collaboration could definitely happen in the future.

Roberts and Langley are both active in the music industry. Langley's "Choosin' Texas" is the next big thing, and Roberts just put out her album Memory Lane back in October. However, sometimes it's nice for these country gals to get a break from the spotlight every now and then. Last year, Roberts and Langley teamed up to can tomatoes in her kitchen, and it was fun to get to see the girls do something outside their usual routine.
"The reason I wanted to come over here," Ella shared at the time, "is that Emily's an incredible artist, her voice is insane, I love listening to her music, but also they do all these kind of fun things. And when I've had a bad day or a long day I love to just watch their videos of things like this."
"These memaw hobbies are so good when your life is crazy," shared Emily. For someone like Emily or Ella, doing simple tasks is probably relaxing. On her @sasserhouse Instagram page, Emily shows people how to do all sorts of basic skills. The videos not only fun to watch, but they also make your life easier.
Emily Ann Roberts Says That She "Looks up To" Ella Langley
In an interview with Holler Country, Emily spoke highly of Langley, who just announced the release of her sophomore album, Dandelion. "It's good to have friends that are in the same field that you're in, that you're able to bounce ideas off of and learn from," Emily shared. "She is somebody I definitely look up to in business, but also in real life. She's just an incredible girl."
Roberts signed with RECORDS/Sony Music Nashville in 2025, but has been making music for a long time before that. In 2015, she joined Blake Shelton's team on The Voice. In 2023, she also released her debut album, Can't Hide Country. On a possible collaboration, Emily shared that, while she and Ella have talked about making music, nothing has happened yet.
"We've sent songs to each other. We have definitely talked about doing something together. I cannot say there's anything in the works, because there is not, but it's something I think we would both love to do," she shared.
"We love singing and we love country music, and I'm sure there will be an opportunity in the future for us to get to do something together - at least I hope so!"
