World Cup Winner Performs Viral "Trump Dance" in Front of President

The World Cup has been an absolutely amazing time. Spain beat Argentina, with one player doing the "Trump Dance" before raising the trophy.

Did you watch the World Cup final last night? Well, even if you don't care about soccer, let me tell you, it was crazy.

The game itself wasn't the most interesting - it took almost two hours for a single goal to be scored. In case you missed it, Spain won, marking their second title.

But the most interesting part (at least to me!) was the post-match antics. First, the Argentinians got pretty angry, and a brawl almost broke out - crazy, right? But tensions and emotions get high in sports pretty darn often.

It was the trophy raising ceremony that got attention, however - for a totally hilarious but unexpected reason. As reported by The Sun, President Trump went up to the winning team to congratulate them.

We're not exactly sure what was said (¡Vamos a España!, anyone?), but one thing President Trump did was individually go up to each Spanish player to embrace them.

Trump handed the World Cup trophy to Rodri, before doing his signature "Trump Dance". This was met with smiles from the team, and one player, Mikel Merino Zazón, even decided to join in.

He was pictured performing the iconic moves, moving his hands up and down in exactly the same manner, with a grin on his face.

Social Media Loved the World Cup Winner for His "Trump Dance"

People on social media were understandably enamored by Merino's slick moves.

One commenter wrote, "Merino really knew how to make the moment unforgettable," with another writing, "Clocked it last night and nearly p***** my pants, glad I'm not the only one who caught that moment."

Other commenters joked about Merino's soccer team, England's Arsenal. In case you're not clued into the soccer world, they recently won the top flight of English soccer, the Premier League. Of course, given the sheer amount of rivalries in sport, some people don't like the team.

So, one commenter joked, "you can expect anything from arsenal players," with another writing, "Trump dance curse coming for Arsenal."

This was a pretty funny moment to round off what has been a great World Cup. Good job on Spain for winning it!
