Woman Suffers Severe Injuries After Wearing Adult Toy During MRI

When having an MRI scan it is incredibly important to remove anything made of metal before getting into the machine, including any sex toy you may have inside you.

An MRI scan works using incredibly strong magnets to scan your insides. There is a risk of serious injury if anything metal is worn inside them. But, a woman thought she could get away with wearing a butt plug in the MRI scanner. She believed the sex toy wouldn't trigger the MRI because it was advertised as 100% silicone.

However, it wasn't and had a metal core. This essentially turned it into a sex toy rail gun inside her. It traveled up through her body during the MRI scan, causing a phenomenal amount of pain. She is now looking to sue the sex toy company after her MRI ordeal.

The sex toy was dragged through the woman's abdomen and into her chest cavity causing major damage. She has survived but is in need of serious care.

Sex Toy Caused Serious Injury In MRI Scan

The MRI scan would not have been possible to turn off immediately either. These machines, which work using massive magnets, take time to speed up and time to slow down. When the woman realized there was something wrong and began screaming, it would have taken a minute or two to stop.

Doctors quickly realized something was wrong when she began wriggling in pain. Why she was even wearing the sex toy to her check-up is beyond me anyway. Surely, she could have just left it at home with the rest of her gear.

Apparently, she believed she could get away with it because of its advertising as 100% silicone. I guess she wanted the surgeons to see it in there, and have a bit of a giggle. Instead, the MRI turned her sex toy into an almost fatal mistake.

Due to the woman's foolish error, one Redditor points out medical professionals will have one more step to make before an MRI. "oh f**ks sake now medical staff have to add on a ridiculously long list of questions, do you have a butt plug?"
