One New York City mental health counselor was surprised when she began receiving Jason Sudeikis's mail at her home. The woman, named Taylor Palmby,told PEOPLE that she moved into her apartment in the city that never sleeps in May 2025.

Woman Surprised to Learn She Was Living in Star's Apartment
Palmby says that after a month of living in the apartment, she began receiving the Horrible Bosses star's mail. And it wasn't just as simple as an Amazon delivery going to the wrong address. She also told the outlet that she was receiving mail correspondence for Sudeikis from the Writers Guild of America, Producers Guild of America, and "For Your Consideration" TV and movie screeners.
"I was like, 'No way. There's no way this is the same Jason Sudeikis. There's no way,' " Palmby recalled to PEOPLE. "Then I looked it up on the internet, and I found some website with him on it that had this as his address. I was like, 'Oh, my God, I think that I'm living in Jason Sudeikis' old apartment.' "
After realizing that she was living in the Hollywood star's old apartment, Palmby used the power of social media. With hopes of connecting with him. The plan worked to perfection. Her DMs were flooded with people who were connected to Sudeikis.
"The amount of people that know Jason Sudeikis is amazing," she said. "I have so many DMs, 'I'm his cousin. I know his sister. You can connect to this management company. My boyfriend is best friends with him or my ex knows him.' It was like six degrees of Kevin Bacon, but one degree of Jason Sudeikis."
The Agency Group PR, who represents the actor, eventually caught wind of the video. And once they did, they invited Palmby to attend the Season 4 premiere of Ted Lasso in New York City. Where she got to meet the former tenant of the apartment that she lives in.
Palmby said that when she finally met the acting star, he was "really sweet."
However, Sudekis did admit that he didn't recognize the apartment that his mail was going to. Still, the interaction between Palmby and Sudekis was overall a cool moment. She also got to bring her friend Olivia Saleh, who is a Sudeikis superfan.
