Woman Pulls Gun With Laser Sight On Driver For Honking The Horn

Emotions can run high in a busy parking lot, but let's be honest, it's never a life or death situation. Still, that didn't stop one lady from pulling a gun on a couple for the cardinal sin of honking a horn.

The incident happened outside a King Soopers Shopping Centre in Federal Heights, Colorado. Horrifying camera footage shows an altercation from the couple's perspective. According to an interview with FOX31, the couple was leaving the parking lot and got stuck behind a parked vehicle.

The driver, who wishes to remain anonymous, honked their horn to "signal them to keep going." Instead, an angry lady in a red hoodie exited the parked vehicle with her hands in her pockets and walked toward the car.

The Gun Had A Blue Laser Attachment

The lady strolls toward the vehicle and casually flashes a handgun with a bright blue laser attachment. She promptly hides the weapon after a couple of seconds, but not before traumatizing the couple who filmed the footage. You can see the couple start reversing away from the lady and the parked vehicle before the video ends.

According to the driver, the parking lot was packed, and "a lot of families" were leaving the store behind them. "I just wanted to get out of there; it was pretty scary," she added.

The couple can't recall anything before the incident that would have provoked such an aggressive response. Fortunately, the altercation never escalated past a threat, and no one was hurt. The driver also mentioned they will be more careful with who they honk at in the future.

The footage is especially chilling because of how relaxed the suspect is. There was clearly zero threat, and the lady was happy to escalate the situation as high as it could go.

According to FOX31, local law enforcement is investigating the situation. The incident is believed to be isolated, with no immediate danger to the public.

At the time of writing, we don't know if authorities have tracked down the suspect. Fortunately, the footage is clear as day, and even the number plate for the gun-toting Karen's vehicle is clearly displayed.
