A woman was found dead in Miami on Sunday, March 30th. That might not be the most surprising headline you read today. What is surprising is that she was killed by her own car. That's not exactly something that happens every day.

What Happened?
The short story is. We don't really know.
She was found dead on a northbound entrance ramp of Interstate 75 in Miami. She has not yet been identified, but her age is 25. A Good Samaritan truck driver called the police when he happened upon the scene. The police reported that they arrived on the scene "within minutes".
At this point, she had already been run over by her car. The car in question was "in gear with the motor still running," according to police reports per the Miami Herald. It was also lodged against the guardrail of the interstate.
She succumbed to her injuries shortly after the incident.
So far, the police officers have found "have found no evidence of foul play," But I guess it's potentially still up in the air. Especially with the obvious question looming of why she pulled over in the first place.
I think we can all agree that this is a bona fide tragedy, and I wish nothing but the best for her friends and family.
How Does This Happen?
My short story is. Nobody knows.
I wish there was a way to find more details out because I am beyond flabbergasted. I don't know about you, but putting my car in park is the first thing I do after stopping my vehicle. In fact, most cars scream at you if your keys are still in the ignition after you open a door. (or with these new fancy cars with the buttons, I guess, just if the car's on when you open the door?)
I promise I'm not trying to be unsympathetic, I just don't fully understand how one gets out of a moving car without thinking something's wrong. And then she what, stood in front of the car and watched it roll over her? I'm not sure I'm buying it. She either saw Bigfoot or there is more to this story than meets the eye. Either way we'll keep you updated.
