Alison Krauss earned her second No. 1 record on the country charts with the release of Windy City, produced by Buddy Cannon.
This week, the album landed atop both Billboard's Top Country Albums and Bluegrass Albums charts. Fans were eager to snap up the release, which marks her first solo LP in a decade. Windy City has become Krauss' fourth consecutive record to hit No. 1 on the Bluegrass charts, following up her three successful releases with Union Station.
The project is comprised of classic songs from artists like Willie Nelson, Glen Campbell, Brenda Lee and Roger Miller. It's no easy feat to put your own spin on other artists' classic tunes, but Krauss managed to pull it off flawlessly.
