"Well she made my day, but it ruined by life," Willie Nelson sings in a new 23-second clip released to Facebook to tease his new song, "She Made My Day" off of his upcoming record, Last Man Standing. It sounds like classic Willie — reflective, funny and of course, perfect to sing along to.
The new track was written by Nelson and producer/songwriter, Buddy Cannon. Cannon has worked with Nelson on past projects, and he considers his work with Willie to be a major highlight in his career. The two will often write song lyrics through text messages before they meet in the studio to collaborate where Cannon encourages Nelson to improvise.

Last Man Standing will be released on April 27, a few days ahead of Nelson's 85th birthday. A music video for the album's title track was already released in mid-February, showing Nelson healthy and happy in the studio recording.
