Willie Nelson to Headline Star-Studded Hurricane Benefit in Austin

Country legend Willie Nelson has signed on to headline a massive Hurricane Harvey benefit concert in Texas.

Harvey Can't Mess With Texas: A Benefit Concert for Hurricane Harvey Relief will be held Sept. 22 at the Erwin Center in Austin. Other performers include Paul Simon, James Taylor, Bonnie Raitt, Leon Bridges, Asleep at the Wheel, Lyle Lovett and Edie Brickell & New Bohemians.

Organizers hope to raise money through ticket sales and via online donations for those affected by Harvey. Celebrities including Matthew McConaughey, Dan Rather, Renée Zellweger, Luke Wilson will also be on hand to lend their support.

Tickets will go on sale today (Sept. 13) at RebuildTX.org. Prices range from $30 to $199. You can be sure that these tickets will likely sell out within minutes, so make sure you plan accordingly. If you can't snag tickets, the four-hour long event will be televised live on all TEGNA stations, including Austin's KVUE-TV. The concert will also be streamed live via YouTube.

The news comes the day after the nationally-televised Hand in Hand telethon raised millions for those affected by Hurricane Harvey and Hurricane Irma.
