William Michael Morgan Goes off the Grid in 'Missing' Music Video

Traditional country newcomer William Michael Morgan has released a new music video for his sophomore single, "Missing." The video for the catchy tune features the Morgan going off the grid with only his essentials: a guitar and his truck.

The lyrics of this song focus on the benefits of getting away from reality. So, naturally the video features Morgan getting out of town... to the desert, to be exact.

The Mississippi native takes his pickup truck out for a dusty adventure in Palm Springs, Calif., his only destination being to escape from his daily life for a bit. His loved ones need not worry, however. "Sometimes missing is my favorite place to be," he sings in the chorus.

The video sure makes solo traveling seem pretty fun, as Morgan looks happy as can be while singing and dancing in his signature cowboy hat. Also, it's nearly impossible to not sing along because the melody is infectiously fun. Check it out below.

"Missing" was written by Rhett Akins and Marv Green. The song is a follow up to Morgan's previous number one single, "I Met a Girl."
