Who is Zach Bryan's Girlfriend? Meet Brianna Chickenfry

Zach Bryan is officially in a new relationship

Country singer Zach Bryan is officially in a new relationship. The "Something in the Orange" singer is confirmed to be dating media personality Brianna Chickenfry (real name Brianna LaPaglia). Chickenfry confirmed their relationship in late July on an episode of her podcast Plan Bri Uncut. But who exactly is this new love interest of Bryan's?

Who is Brianna Chickenfry?

Fans of the Barstool Sports media franchise will instantly recognize Chickenfry, as she has been a member of the brand for years. The 24-year-old got her start in media as a viral TikTok creator, often making humorous videos about hangovers and life in her early 20s. Due to her viral fame, she was hired as a member of the Barstool team in 2020, and she has since hosted her Plan Bri Uncut podcast. She also makes appearances on other podcasts within the company, including on the BFFs podcast with Dave Portnoy and Josh Richards.

Bryan and Chickenfry's Relationship Timeline

It was on her Plan Bri Uncut podcast that Chickenfry first shared the news that she and Bryan are dating. In a conversation with co-host Grace O'Malley, Chickenfry said she and Bryan are "hanging out and having fun." On a more recent episode of the BFFs podcast with Portnoy and Richards, the content creator gave more insight into how her relationship with Bryan progressed.

During the podcast, she revealed that she and Bryan first met at the ACM Awards in May, where they simply posed for a photo together. Both Chickenfry and Bryan were in other relationships at the time: The singer was still dating longtime girlfriend Deb Peifer, and Chickenfry was with her ex, Joey.

She continued in the podcast, saying she saw Bryan again in June when she attended the singer's concert in New York City with her fellow hosts, and she even joined Bryan onstage. She was still with her boyfriend at the time, although Bryan and Peifer had recently broken up. Chickenfry insists again that she and Bryan did not have a conversation at the concert. It was after that second meeting that things changed, however.

Chickenfry revealed that after the concert, she and her boyfriend broke up. Bryan then messaged her on social media.

"...He f---in' slid into my DMs," she said. "I made a podcast after we went onstage and was like, 'Eat the rich besides Zach Bryan' and he posted it and then he DM'd me and said, 'That was so sweet, thank you guys for coming.' And then we just started chatting."

The two then started spending time together, and they took an 18-hour road trip during which she realized her feelings for the singer.

"He's like, the nicest, most genuine person I've ever met. He's so normal," she said. "We did a f---in' 18-hour car ride together and ... didn't turn the music on once and talked the whole time. That's when I knew, like, oh this guy's actually awesome. We got to know each other."

Zach Bryan's Past Relationships

Bryan has been somewhat quiet about his personal life throughout his career, but details of his past relationships still emerge. Before entering into a relationship with Chickenfry, Bryan dated Peifer for a little over a year, Page Six reports. The two often shared photos and videos that gave fans a glimpse into their relationship on social media. Bryan announced their split in a tweet on May 31, revealing that the decision was mutual.

"For transparency and with respect I am letting everyone know Debra and me went our separate ways about a week and a half ago," Bryan writes. "Things are mutual between us, we're leaving with plenty memories and good times. I beg so much that everyone respects her and my privacy through a hard time."

Bryan also had a major relationship before Peifer. In fact, he was married. Bryan married Rose Madden in July 2020 at Colchuck Lake in Washington, Page Six reports. The two reportedly met while serving in the military (Bryan served in the Navy), but they split one year after their nuptials.
