Fans of "When Calls the Heart" take notice: you'll be back in Hope Valley for another season soon.
12 new episodes of the romance series will premiere on Hallmark starting Sunday, April 7 at 9 p.m. ET. That's just months after the Season 10 finale — a rapid turnaround sure to delight fans of the decade-long series about a young teacher who experiences a major culture shock when she relocates from high society to a coal mining town.
Erin Krakow, star and executive producer of the show, announced the upcoming premiere on Instagram.
"Season 11 poster & premiere date hard launch!??," she posted on Jan. 23 with a photo of her and co-star Kevin McGarry. "Thank you @deidrebehar & @entertainmenttonight for bringing us the exclusive news! Link in bio for more details!"
According to Entertainment Tonight, "The upcoming season, which will explore renewal and redemption, will follow Elizabeth as she gets a fresh start, complete with romance, challenges and new style. Elizabeth and Nathan's storyline will continue, as they'll navigate their growing romantic feelings while also leaning on each other amid parenting obstacles."
The logline continues: "Elsewhere, Lucas must confront his past in order to lead Hope Valley into the future, while Bill and Rosemary team up to unravel a mystery putting their entire community at risk."
Krakow expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming season, which marks ten years of "When Calls the Heart" being on air.
"Time has flown by since the end of season 10, and I cannot put into words how thrilled I am for the premiere of season 11 of 'When Calls the Heart,'" she said in a statement. "It's such a warm feeling to know that we have the loyalty, love, and longevity to make it this far and that is a true testament to our viewers ... I cannot wait for viewers to tune in to this season and to continue on this journey with all of us! Season 11 delivers more heart than ever before!"
