A crew of Wendy's employees in South Carolina didn't take too kindly to a customer's refund request.

Instead of offering a refund, the Wendy's staffers offered to remake the order that the customer had an issue with.
During the remake, however, the crew threw sanitization standards to the wayside.
Police stated that the fast-food employees retrieved a meal from the trash can and spat on it before serving it to the patron.
Aaliyah Shuntai Sanders, 23, Trinity Lashell Rice, 19, and Shadela Crystal Holley were each arrested between June 16 and June 22 after the trifling act last month, according to Fox Carolina.
The Union Public Safety Department charged all three women with tampering with a human drug product or food item.
Initially, the customer did not notice that her meal had been improperly assembled and began eating it after she left the restaurant. Shortly after leaving the establishment, she received a call from someone from the store informing her that her meal had been spat on.
Following the call, the customer examined the meal more closely. She realized she had been served the same meal she had initially returned. The only difference was that it was topped with saliva and pulled from the garbage.
She then called the store and spoke with the manager, who admitted he had spoken with employees and confirmed what happened.
Wendy's Releases Statement on Shocking Incident
Wendy's called the incident "wholly unacceptable" and confirmed the employees involved were fired.
"This is an isolated incident that occurred at a restaurant in South Carolina. The franchisee who owns and operates this restaurant is taking this matter very seriously. And acted promptly to dismiss those allegedly involved as soon as they became aware of the situation," a Wendy's spokesperson told The Post.
"Their team conducted a thorough review and is working with law enforcement to take appropriate action. This behavior is wholly unacceptable and not reflective of Wendy's values. Including treating people with respect and doing the right thing."
