Watch Waylon Jennings Sing 'Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way'

Hank Williams Jr. might've just released an album, but around here we still worship the way Waylon Jennings did country music. Which can get a little circuitous, because he sort of worshipped the way Hank Sr. did it.

Any how, back in the '80s The Highwaymen went on an epic tour and recorded their jams along the way, some of which can be found around the world wide web.

Johnny Cash even provides a little back story on the song in this clip we found.

It may not be his most famous song, but "Are You Sure Hank Done It This Way" did reach number one on the country charts upon its inclusion with Dreaming My Dreams back in 1975, and is always fun to revisit. Little known fact: The B-Side to the record included a song called "Bob Wills is Still the King," and here at Wide Open Country I'm sure you know we're also big fans of Bob Wills & His Texas Playboys.

More recently, Alabama covered the track back in 2010 on a tribute album done for the former Highwayman.
