After recently receiving multiple Grammy nominations and earning the title of CMA New Artist of the Year, Maren Morris can now check yet another milestone off of her bucket list: playing Saturday Night Live. The rising star performed her hits "My Church" and "80s Mercedes" during the episode, which was hosted by wrestler John Cena.

First, Morris performed "My Church," with her acoustic guitar in hand and joined by a chorus of background vocalists. Her big voiced stunned on stage, making it clear why the song earned her so much success this past year. Furthermore, Maren looked like true superstar material up on the festive stage, rocking big, curly hair and a black dress reminiscent of, in her own words, "Holiday Barbie."

Then, she ditched the guitar and changed into a sparkly jumpsuit for her second song. As she danced happily on stage, "80s Mercedes" sounded just as captivating as her first performance.

"Best weekend of my life," the Texas native shared on social media after her big night. What a well-deserved career benchmark for Morris, who is headlining her own Hero Tour in 2017. For a full list of tour dates, visit her official website.
