Back before he became a superstar, Luke Bryan wowed his fellow students and faculty during his hometown's high school play.
In the video below, you'll see a teenaged Bryan starring alongside another student named Aubrey Breneman in their high school's stage production of "Annie Get Your Gun." Although you may not be able to recognize him from the fuzzy footage and outlandish costumes, it's easy to spot Bryan once he starts reciting the dialogue.
His southern accent sounds exactly the same as he rolls through the script before he shows off his vocal talents. Dressed in a fringy white cowboy outfit, he tries to win over the heart of his co-star while dealing with a group of smitten young women. This was probably good practice for the now superstar, who regularly draws thousands of screaming female fans to his sold-out shows each year.
Even in his early years, it's obvious that Bryan held a natural singing talent that would later catapult him to the top of the charts. Thankfully, he switched out the shiny theatre attire for a more casual t-shirt and jeans look since his high school days.
