Earlier this week, Little Big Town announced plans to drop a brand new album and plans for a residency at the Ryman Auditorium. Now, the group has released a visually-driven new video for their latest single, "Better Man."
The clip shows the band members in different settings around a country home as they deal with feelings of loneliness and loss. From a dark and empty kitchen to rolling, golden fields, the comforting representation of home seems to have a dark cloud of sadness hovering over it.
"Better Man" was actually written by country starlet turned pop queen Taylor Swift. It's her first country songwriting credit since she left the country world a few years back.
"[Swift] is the biggest pop star in the world, but she's a songwriter from Nashville, Tennessee, and she likes to tell a story and we didn't want you to have any subtext there other than to hear the song, and we did that," band member Karen Fairchild said during a press conference.
The track will be featured on LBT's new album, The Breaker. Fans can snap up their new project when its released on Feb. 24.
