Eric Church Joins Kenny Chesney Onstage for ‘When I See This Bar’ [VIDEO]

Kenny Chesney and Eric Church fans got a special treat during the former’s Big Revival Tour stop in Philadelphia this weekend.

On July 11, Church supplied a very special opening set, beginning with a cover of Bruce Springsteen’s “Streets of Philadelphia”, which flawlessly led into his own hit, “Springsteen”. After a solid solo performance, Chesney brought Church back out onstage for a special duet of his 2013 hit, “When I See This Bar”. The duo didn’t stop there, continuing their onstage collaboration with an energetic rendition of “Living in Fast Forward”. Video shot by a fan in the crowd shows just how much fun the two entertainers had swapping verses and playing alongside each other.

The night marked the eighth time Chesney played at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, where he shattered an attendance record. His July 11 performance broke the record for most tickets sold to a single-night country show, with a staggering 55,131 fans in attendance.

“It’s funny, when you go back to markets in this size venue tour after tour,” Chesney said in a statement, “You wonder if people are ever going to get tired of the big show, the long day. And listening to the crowd last night, they were as alive, as loud, as crazy about the music as they were in 2006.”

Kenny Chesney and Eric Church will be out on the road together for the Big Revival Tour select dates through August. You can find a full list of tour dates on Chesney’s official website.
