On the show, Parton brought on an array of special guests, including Merle Haggard, Tammy Wynette, and Emmylou Harris. Along with these musical greats, some of the biggest names from pop culture also joined in on the fun.
In this clip, taken from an episode of Dolly, Parton is joined onstage by Oprah Winfrey, who is clad in a black and gold glittering gown very similar to the country star's style. They have a quick discussion about singing and Winfrey makes it clear she only sings when she's in church. In order to convince Winfrey to join her in a song, Parton quickly decorates the stage in the style of a church and even brings out a choir to sing along with them.
The two burst out into an upbeat rendition of "This Little Light of Mine" with Winfrey's vocals holding up strong against Parton's powerful voice. Although unexpected, this duet was a match made in heaven.
