It's true: Even country superstars get bored and decide to try out the newest social media craze.
Moments before heading onstage to perform in Pennsylvania, Carrie Underwood logged onto Periscope, a live-streaming app, to have a quick chat with her fans.
While many country stars like Luke Bryan have been using popular apps like Periscope to promote their latest releases, Underwood shied away from schmoozing. Instead, she spent seven minutes answering various fan questions and gushing over her newborn baby, Isaiah.
During the chat, she revealed she "didn't expect to have such a happy baby," and she's hard at work trying to get him to learn to say "mama". Between giving shoutouts to fans and answering questions, she admitted she wasn't exactly knowledgable on how to use the app. "I'm pretty sure the rest of the bus is laughing at me," she admitted. "I have no idea what I'm doing."
At the end of the seven-minute long broadcast, Carrie even struggles to shut Periscope off. The video stands as an adorable glimpse into what Underwood is really like without the showbiz veil of glitter and spotlights. Good job Carrie, you've somehow managed to make us love you even more.
