Hours: Monday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.

9. Texas Hatters in Lockhart, Texas

Nothing completes a good country look like a custom-made cowboy hat. Texas Hatters in Lockhart, Texas still makes hats the old fashion way—just the same way they've done it for over 50 years. 3. High Class Hillbilly Vintage in Nashville, Tenn.

2. Fort Lonesome in Austin, Texas

Unlike the other shops on the list, Fort Lonesome doesn't have a brick and mortar store. The result is a one-of-a-kind piece of wearable art that will make you feel like a long lost member of Buck Owens' Buckaroos.

Fort Lonesome has made custom garments for Nikki Lane, Kacey Musgraves and Margo Price.

Hours: By appointment only.

1. Manuel Couture in Nashville, Tenn.

When you think country fashion, you should think Manuel. The iconic designer has dressed everyone from Elvis to Dwight Yoakam. He created Gram Parsons' iconic marijuana-leaf Nudie suit. Oh yeah, and he's responsible for making Johnny Cash the Man in Black.

Manuel operates out of his shop in downtown Nashville, where you can browse to-die-for rhinestone embellished jackets, pearl snaps and suits and get fitted for your own dazzling ensemble.
