Honestly, so do I. Look, I'm a self-professed bit of a hater against the singer, mainly for "Fancy Like." My wife played that song on repeat when we first started dating, so I place more of the blame on her than Hayes for my disdain of that little earworm. But I would have to be a Grinch not to see all of the good that Hayes is doing off-stage.
Hayes ended up gifting Waffle House workers $1,200 for their tips. He was having a meal with social media influencer Lexy Burke, a "Serial Tipper." Burke likes to support food staff by raising money to help give them generous tips. Hayes was sold on the idea.
"Honestly, I'm just so grateful Lexy included me in something so generous that she has cultivated," Hayes told Southern Living magazine. "As far as giving back is concerned, it is wild to be on this side of the gift. We've had people give us cars when we were hurting financially, so we know what it's like to need a little help."

"You ready to tip?" Burke asked Hayes.
"Let's big tip these people," he replied. Inside, the workers were surprised by Hayes' appearance. One of them played "Fancy Like Christmas" on the jukebox.
After eating, Burke explained to the employees.
"I do this thing like every holiday season on my social media where I just ask people to send in some spare change," she said. "So they do that and then my friend Walker wanted to contribute as well."
The two of them gave each of the employees $400 for a total of $1,200.

"Can I hug you?" the waitress asked before the two hugged.
